About Beastwolf

Beastwolf is a small site for a specific reader: someone who lives with a big, powerful dog. Mastiffs, shepherds, ridgebacks, Rottweilers, huskies, the mid-size athletes with big-dog opinions. You already have the dog. We’re not here to talk you into one.

What we cover

Gear that survives a 40 kg puller. Training approaches that actually apply at scale (management first, dominance nonsense never). Nutrition that respects the size. Stories from the deep end of ownership. We write in the voice of someone who knows big dogs — never as a person with a specific pet the site claims to own.

How we grade

Every gear verdict comes with a plain word (“HOLDS”, “SKIP”, “BUDGET WIN”) and an observable fact — not a number we made up. Every price is dated. Every affiliate link is disclosed above the fold. When a product can’t be verified, we say so.

What we don’t do

We don’t give veterinary advice. Anything about your dog’s health is a conversation with your vet — today rather than tomorrow. We don’t shame owners. We don’t do breed-ban politics. We don’t use the word “indestructible” as a fact.
