How Beastwolf makes money

Beastwolf is reader-supported. Some links on the site are affiliate links, mostly to Amazon. When you click one and buy something — anything on the destination site, not just what you clicked — we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That commission is how we keep the lights on and the site free.

How this is disclosed

We follow the US Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255). In practice that means:

• Every article that contains an affiliate link carries an above-the-fold disclosure banner near the top of the body.
• Every affiliate link on the site opens in a new tab and carries the rel="sponsored noopener" attribute, which is the browser-level signal that the link is a paid one.
• This page exists so the arrangement is easy to find and read in full.

Amazon Associates specifically

Beastwolf is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated Amazon regional sites. When you click an Amazon link on Beastwolf, Amazon may set a cookie in your browser that credits Beastwolf with a commission if you buy anything on Amazon within a set window (typically 24 hours from the click).

The commitment

The commission never changes what we write. We present tradeoffs and let the reader choose the fit. When two products are close, we say they are close and describe the tie-breaker — we do not manufacture a winner for the affiliate rate. Where a product does not hold up, we say so.

We do not accept free products from manufacturers in exchange for reviews. We do not accept payment to change a verdict or move a ranking. If either of those things ever changes, this page will change with it and be dated.

Pricing

Prices shown on Beastwolf are dated to the article’s writing or last update. Amazon prices change often. Verify the current price on Amazon before you buy.

If a product turns out to be worse than we said

The review gets updated. If a recall lands or a manufacturer changes a formulation, spec, or supply chain in a way that affects our verdict, we cover it as soon as we hear about it.
